Balquhidder InformationScottish Highlands Balquhidder (from the Gaelic 'the farm in the back-lying country'), is a small village of about 200 inhabitants in a glen extending 9 miles west to mountainous terrain north of Loch Katrine and south of Ben More.
 The village is located at the eastern end of Loch Voil. It is about 4 miles from Rosebank House and is a pleasant stroll along the cycle path from Strathyre.
