Perthshire Photographs

Aberfeldy lies on the banks of the mighty silver River Tay, and has a lively atmosphere and a great many attractions.

Alyth is a traditional country town on the edge of the fertile farmlands of Strathmore.

Balquhidder This small village lies in central Scotland and is mainly known for being the burial place of Rob Roy.

Blairgowrie The small town lies on the banks of the River Ericht. It is known as the "Berry Capital of Scotland" and renowned for its delicious rasberries and strawberries.

Bridge of Gaur This hamlet lies on the banks of the River Gaur. It was once known as "Georgetown" named by The Redcoats after their king.

Comrie The charming little Strathearn village with one main street, sits on the bank of the river Earn.

Coupar Angus Coupar Angus is small market town on the River Isla and situated in the centre of rich agricultural land of eastern lowland Perthshire.

Dunkeld Dunkeld and Birnam are set amongst some of the finest woodlands in Scotland, these two picturesque villages are situated on opposite banks of the River Tay.

Kenmore This is a charming village at the head of the River Tay, nestling under the wooded Drummond Hill.

Killin This is a charming village at the head of Loch Tay, nestling in the shadow of Ben Lawers - Perthshire's highest mountain.

Pitlochry A bustling Highland Perthshire resort with a real Victorian feel and dramatic mountain backdrop.

Weem This village is connected to the Clan Menzies and lies a few miles north of Aberfeldy.
