Pitlochry Information

Pitlochry is a resort town in Highland Perthshire, situated on the River Tummel 28 miles north of Perth. It has been renowned as a holiday resort as far back as the 1860's

Festival Theatre, Pitlochry

To get to the town from Perth, drive north on the A9, passing the river Tay on the way. The view of the highlands here is superb with dominant views of Ben Vrackie. Pass Ballinluig which was at one time the railway junction for the line to Aberfeldy. 'British Railways' once had a converted railway 'camping coach' at Aberfeldy and to get there you took a little 2 coach train pulled by a saddle tank locomotive from Ballinluig - but that's a distant memory!

You will find a warm welcome awaits you.
