Remember people from around the world have different dining and eating etiquette. Read up on the Dining Etiquette in Scotland.

What are the selection criteria?

It is not possible to visit all of the restaurants, so I use every available means to check the quality of each establishment before accepting them for inclusion.

I have sourced restaurant reviews from reputable newspapers, online and of course I still check the opinions of the major Guides.

Can I submit a restaurant review?

Yes of course! To review a restaurant, simply find a restaurant you'd like to review and that you eaten at. If so, we'd like to hear from you, just follow the instructions. Note, I decides whether or not to publish any review or comment, the decision is final.

How is the cost of a meal defined?

My aim is to give a reasonably accurate guide to what a meal is going to cost you as an Average Cost per Head. This is the average cost per person based on two courses, coffee, half a bottle of house wine and tip/service. Obviously it is much easier when a restaurant has a fixed A la Carté price. As always it is down to you to decide what you spend and in many places you can dine inexpensively by being selective.

Can a new restaurants be recommended for inclusion?

I am always delighted to hear about good quality places to eat that have escaped my notice. Please contact me with full details that you feel I should be considering for inclusion. At the very least please include the name, address, telephone number and website address, if they have one and state why you think that they should be included.

It is also helps us maintain our standards if you keep us informed of any closures or changes in restaurants already in the Perthshire Restaurants list.

What's Your Favourite Perthshire Restaurant or place to Eat?

Please share with us your reviews on any places to eat in Perthshire, whether it's a restaurant, Pub, Coffee Shop, Tea Room or anywhere else. You can even include Carry Out's (Take Away)!

Share with us the Good and the Not so Good, whether it's the food, value for money, service or whatever. However, please do NOT use bad language, and even if your views are negative, keep your comments constructive.

When you name the Place to eat - please include in the main body of the review, what type of establishment it is (ie restaurant, pub, coffee shop etc), address + post code + telephone number.

Enter the Title of Your Restaurant Review (ex, "Marcos")
