You choose from the attractions shown in this tour. It has been set out for flexibilty, to suit your pace. I have taken the phylosphy 'See More... Drive Less'. I have only listed a selection of places to visit. The complete tour package includes comprehensive route instructions, information sheets for all attractions and accommodation available.

Tour - Dunkeld & Birnam
(Visit the above example for package content for a Day Tour)
This day tour starts from the 'Fair City' of Perth, heading north on the A9 to Inverness, passing by Scone Palace, Stanley Mill and the Scottish Liqueur Centre before reaching the gem towns of Victorian Birnam and Dunkeld. Spending most of the day here will not disappoint you. You may wish to take in the 'Off-route' attractions mentioned, the choice is yours but doing so will reduce the time spent in Dunkeld and Birnam. This will be your overnight stop.
Whisky Tour 1
- Start at pickup point at Crieff or as agreed.
- Travel to the Glenturret distillery. Enjoy the tour and samples as you go through the process. Famous for the Grouse blends. Approx midday…. Stop for lunch break.
- leave heading towards Loch Earn, climbing up Glen Ogle for Killin and The Falls of Dochart. The Breadalbane Folklore Centre is located in the Old Mill close to the falls.
- Other places of interest are;
- Finlarig Castle, once owned by Black Duncan Campbell
- Moirlanich Longhouse
- Return to Crieff
(Glenturret can cater for several languages on these whisky Tours and will show you a film of the marketing of the famous Grouse blend.)
Whisky Tour 2
- Start at pickup point at Crieff or as agreed.
- Taste malt whisky at Aberfeldy Distillery; visitors can call in on Dewars World of Whisky, one of the more organised distillery visitor centers you are likely to find when touring around Scotland.
- Lunch at The House of Menzies Coffee Shop
- Visit nearby the 16th century Castle Menzies
- Return to Crieff via the ‘Sma Glen’.
Castle Trail Tour
You will probably only manage to see two or three castles in an 8 hour day Tour, depending on whether you go inside all of them or not.
- Start at pickup point at Crieff or as agreed.
- Travel and Tour towards The Fair City of Perth to see the following Castles..........(I suggest three in 8 hours )
- Methven Castle at Methven(private-no access to the public)
- Huntingtower Castle near Perth
- Elcho Castle Perth
- Balvaird Castle near Perth
