Visit Strathyre

You will not be disappointed when you visit Strathyre.

There is a rich variety of outdoor activities, so come and breathe in the fresh air with long walks in the forests. You can even cycle if you prefer along the Sustrans National Cycle Route, which passes nearby. Don't miss a walk round Loch Lubnaig or the glens, mountains and waterfalls that also provide a place of escape. You will be able to see a variety of wildlife including red squirrels and buzzards. Walkers will appreciate the many footpaths and trails within the nature reserves.

Nearby is The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, not to be missed. The forest park covers 50,000 acres of land with a mixture of commercial forest, semi-natural and ancient woodland. Within the boundaries of the park are three main forests: Loch Ard Forest, Achray Forest, and Strathyre Forest. I guarantee when you visit them you will not be disappointed with this experience.
