We had a delightful lunch at Ballathie House Hotel recently, where we took advantage of their "Winter Special" Lunch - 3 courses for £14.95.

The house and grounds were very picturesque, with a long drive through mixed woodland. The lawns stretch down to the river Tay at the back and the setting was altogether lovely.

The meal and service were very good, in charming, country house surroundings and very busy!! The lamb was meltingly tender and the vegetables just right - slightly al dente, rather than too hard or too mushy.

We will definitely go back and have started saving the vouchers from the Daily Mail to enjoy "Tea For 2 from £5".
