Twenty Shilling Wood, is a pretty secluded family run park set amongst magnificent woodland on a south facing hillside, only ½ mile west from the picturesque and friendly village of Comrie.
There is a laundry, modern toilet block (heated in early and late season), with shower, razor and hairdryer points. These facilities are always spotlessly clean, with little personal touches. A car park is provided for residents to use for second cars and when the security gate is closed between 10.30pm and 8am, our quiet time. On the park you will see various species of wildlife, flora and fauna Many of our visitors return year after year having enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of this very pleasing park and have many happy memories of their holidays. There are many places to visit with a drive through breathtaking scenery, castles, great houses, gardens, wildlife parks, fisheries, Glencoe, famous ships (Capt. Scotts Discovery and the Royal Yacht Britannia) to name but a few. In excess of 25 golf courses from the famous ‘Gleneagles’ to the local village course in Comrie. The walking and climbing in the area is extensive. Anything from a short stroll to a ‘Munro’. Caravan Holiday Homes for sale on fully serviced pitches. Touring caravans and motorhomes are accommodated in either the families’ area or the couples’ area, both of which are separate from the Holiday Homes. All are hard standing and individual – divided by shrubs and grassed area and in small groups – with direct electric hook-ups. TV reception poor. Caravans and motorhomes only. Dogs and pets by arrangement. THERE IS A LIMIT OF TWO PETS per pitch. At all times they must be tethered. A fenced exercise area is provided. - BOOKING ESSENTIAL SORRY - we do not take tents.
