Dunsinane Hill

by Elsie Hodge
(Perth Scotland)

On the road from Perth to Dundee by car one day about 9 years ago my late Father who was a Londoner pointed out Dunsinane Hill to me. He simply pointed to the left and said " that's Dunsinane Hill over there, it's mentioned in Macbeth". I was gob smacked. I was 42 years old and had lived in Perth all my life and had no idea that Dunsinane Hill was so near to where I lived.

Here is some more information. The best access to Dunsinane Hill is from the rear of the Perthshire village of Collace on the Northern side of Dunsinane Hill, between the village and the quarry. There is a small parking area there suitable for 4 or 5 cars from which a clearly defined path leads directly to the summit.
